Childhood ticklings...

Once when I was a little kid, mom gifted me a watch, the kuckdo-kun watch! I was told to keep it safe 'nhi to jholi wala baba le jaayega'.
In the night I kept it in the cupboard where we used to keep medicines;I went sleeping. I woke up next morning, got ready n went to school. School was good, me and my bench mate Surbhi, we used to talk about our marriage, kids and all. Well, I wanted to show her that watch, but I forgot it at home. I told her that I would show it to her the next day...
I went home and searched for my watch... It wasn’t there, I was afraid; because I didn’t want to make a bad impression in front of her. Also and majorly, I was petrified about telling mom that I couldn't find it. Well, mom came to know about it in few days and I was scolded. Surbhi said that she would share her watch with me. It was with thin strap n girly. I didn’t like the idea, but liked that she presented it.

After two-three years, when we were leaving New Tehri, I was packing my toys. In the remotest corner of my cupboard I found it- Dusty black, Showing 8:23 when it was 6 around... I called Surbhi to tell her, and then packed it.
We left for Firozabad next day. While unpacking, it was again nowhere seen.

Losing things and finding them where they were never expected to be found... It’s a good-good feeling. Mom told me that she found a watch in some of our belongings we left in one of our house in Bulandshar, while moving from New Tehri in 97 around.
However on a different thought, losing it and finding it somewhere unexpected… happens to love as well.
